On November 20, 2000 in mass media appeared the information given by an anonymous KGB investigator, who told about those who had abducted D.Zavadsky and explained the aim of the abduction. The KGB investigator proved that the security men of The President’s Security Service and members of special subdivision “Almaz” were concerned with this affair.

“07.07,2000 Savushkin, Ihnatovich, Malikov committed the abduction of Zavadsky at airport “Minsk-2”. Beforehand they had watched for long-term for the house where Zavadsky lived. The neighbors had seen Ihnatovich’s car parked at the porch for several times. There were also the witnesses who saw Ihnatovich’s car at the airport on the day Zavadsky was abducted.

A digging tool was found in Ihnatovich’s car. By small spots of blood on the dig a genomic test was carried out, which determined that it was exactly the blood of Zavadsky on the digging tool.

Now the officials has given the instructions to close the case faster (by the end of March). Head of the criminal investigation group Naumov does not want to interfere in the investigation process on his own, the order has been given by the officials of the Prosecutor’s Office. We do not exclude the fact that this group of criminals deals not only with the abduction of Hrachev and Zavadsky, but also with other political felonies including the disappearance of Zacharenko and Honchar.”
