The journalist and founder of the website “Belorusski Partizan” has been questioned in Moscow in connection with materials on the Internet.

This time a request was received from the internal affairs directorate. Belarusian investigators were interested who had written the article about former militia chief Henadzy Hkatsko posted on the website “Belorusski Partizan” on May 18. The article says the militiaman is supposed to have fled to Norway, but investigators looked for him at Sheremet’s. The journalist said at the questioning he didn’t know who was the author of the article, he had never met with Khatsko or his family members and didn’t imagine what the escaped militiamen looks, “Belorusski Partizan” informs.

“At least 50 articles appear on the website “Belorusski Partizan” every day. The website is an open Internet resource, many journalists from around the world have access to it. If I am questioned in connection with every article, I will have to open a reception office to answer questions by curious Belarusian secret services,” Sheremet said.

We remind that former chief of Hrodna militia disappeared some months ago. His location is unknown. The Belarusian Ministry of Internal Department put him on the international wanted list. The rumours recently spread on the Internet say he could have fled to Norway.
